Trio Pskyn Cleanser

The daily gel cleanser for oily, blemish-prone skin.

This clarifying gel pairs three actives that each take on a different part of the breakout cycle: salicylic acid clears congested pores, zinc pyrithione keeps acne- and fungal-acne-causing microbes in check, and guaiazulene calms the redness and inflammation that turn into dark marks on melanin-rich skin. It lifts excess oil, sweat, sunscreen and the day's grime without the tight, stripped feeling that sends oily skin into overdrive, and preps skin so Mandelactone, Trinity Pads and Kojitrinol Pads can work at their best.

Key actives

•        2% Salicylic Acid: oil-soluble, so it works inside the pore to dissolve sebum, blackheads and congestion

•        1% Zinc Pyrithione: helps control the bacteria and Malassezia yeast behind inflamed breakouts and fungal acne, and helps regulate oil

•        0.05% Guaiazulene: the chamomile-derived compound that gives the gel its blue colour; soothes redness and irritation so cleansing stays comfortable

Anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal and anti-seborrheic in one wash. A mild, sulfate-free amino-acid cleansing base (Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate, Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate) with Panthenol, Aloe, Ceramide, Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E keeps skin comfortable, even with longer contact time.

Best for

•        Acne: whiteheads, blackheads and blemishes on the face, chest, back and shoulders

•        Fungal acne (small, itchy, uniform bumps)

•        Seborrheic dermatitis: flaky, greasy patches on the face, brows, hairline and beard area

•        Tinea versicolor: light or dark patches on the chest, back and shoulders

•        Oily skin, and sensitised or inflamed skin that still needs a clarifying cleanse

How to use

1.     Wet the face or areas of concern with cool or room-temperature water.

2.     Massage a generous amount evenly over the areas of concern.

3.     Leave on for 5–15 minutes depending on how severe the concern is, or as directed by your skin health practitioner. This contact time is what lets the actives work.

4.     Rinse thoroughly with cool or room-temperature water.

5.     Start once daily, increasing to two or three times daily if needed. Once breakouts and irritation settle, drop to 1–3 times a week to maintain.

6.     Follow with your Pskyn treatment, moisturiser and, in the morning, UV Warrior SPF 50+.

Caution: For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Stop use and ask a skin health practitioner if your condition worsens or does not improve. Keep out of reach of children; consult a doctor before use on children under 12. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a poison control centre right away.
